Dr. Gabriel Ludwig Schmidt

Dr. Gabriel Ludwig Schmidt is a notary with many years of professional experience. After studying and working as a research assistant at the University of Tübingen, he completed his doctorate in 2015 with an excellent dissertation on settlements in FamFG proceedings. His legal career took him through the higher judicial service of Baden-Württemberg, where he worked as a judge and notary representative, among other things, to become a notary assessor. He has been working as a notary in Stuttgart since 2020, initially in partnership with former notary Dr. Walter Schwenck and since June 1, 2025 as a sole notary. In addition to his notarial work, Dr. Schmidt is involved in legal education as a lecturer and examiner for various examinations in the legal and notarial field.
